The 88th Group and its flagship company, 88th Developers (Pvt) Ltd, are closely related to SBT L.L.C., a construction enterprise with a long history in the Persian Gulf State of Oman. Since its inception in 2004, SBT, based in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, has established a strong presence in the country's building construction, maintenance, and project management sectors.
Sunil Perera, the Director of SBT, experienced an important milestone in his career in 2004. With over three decades of extensive experience in the Middle Eastern construction engineering domain, he established a fully-fledged organization to provide excellent engineering advice, project management, and construction services.
He gradually developed and led a team of highly qualified, exceptionally skilled managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, HSE personnel, draftsmen, and construction technicians, now offering services to some of the country’s top business and industry names. Among SBT’s current clients are Oman Stock Exchange-listed entities and the country’s largest oil and gas company.
